I realize that I probably should have done this a long time ago, as it shows school interest and initiative. I went to an information session and campus tour over the summer, but that was basically it. If I were to email him at this point, what kinds of things should I say or ask? I'm really clueless right now.

Well, you are already ahead of quite a few people by going on a tour. A lot of kids don't visit, which makes it a little easier to cross them off when it gets down to that level. If you don't have anything to ask, don't bother emailing them. They are very busy with ED applications right now.

That is very true. I'm just so paranoid right now because for some reason I have it in my mind that I'm going to be rejected. I was just hoping that maybe I could get a slight advantage by contacting him, but I'd rather not annoy him with mindless chit-chat. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, I'd just let it go. It wouldn't matter too much at this point. Just try to relax. I'm nervous too! :)

Heh, you applied ED too? Well then, good luck to you.

Yup! :D Thanks.
