too late to double major? (statistics)

i want to do statistics as my second major but so far i've only covered Math 1A pre-req requirement
and i'll be in my 3rd year this fall... including summer sessions will i be able to graduate in 4 years if i try to double major? if not it wouldn't be worth it for me

To do the statistics major, you need to take the following:

Fall: Math 1B
Spring: Math 53, Math 54, Statistics 134, Statistics 133
Fall: Statistics 135, 3 statistics or math courses*
Spring: 3 statistics or math courses*

*These 6 courses include 3 upper division statistics courses (150-157, including at least one lab) and 3 upper division math courses (110 and 2 out of 104, 105, 113, 126, 128A, and 185).

Of course, you’ll need to fit your other major in there also. Taking Math 1B in the upcoming summer may decompress the schedule, and it may be possible to take additional summer courses for either major.

[General Catalog - Statistics Courses](http://general-catalog.berkeley.edu/catalog/gcc_list_crse_req?p_dept_name=Statistics&p_dept_cd=STAT)

the real question is “why?”
