Too late to get a dorm?

So I just applied for housing today (4/23) and paid the initial fee, and I was wondering If I’ll still be able to get into a dorm given how late I applied. I looked around the web and saw people get placed on the waitlist pretty far down even when they applied back in March. Does this mean I might not get a dorm?

Also, If I applied to Encinitas Hall, Montecito Hall, or the College of Science themed Hall does this mean I’m only considered for those halls? If those run out of space will I be placed in the Other halls?

Why don’t you call CPP housing and see where you stand along with asking these questions???

You should still apply. It’s better to be on the waitlist than not.
