I took the sat two times, march and November 2013. I scored a 1760, then 1800. My question is if it is too late to retake the SAT. The next available date is in march and acceptance letters go out in April. I am applying to.SUNY BING/STONY BROOK/ AND CUNY BARUCH which are my match and reach schools. Thanks in advance.

Its probably a better idea not to take the SAT more than twice anyway. However , if you do think you can make a major score improvement this time , take the risk. It may pay off!! However remember that the SAT scores are not the beginning and end of it all. Try to develop all other areas of your application and you may just get in.

There is nothing wrong with taking the SAT 3 times. However, March is too late. Can you take it stand-by in January? If you have not been practicing, it might not be worth it, but if you do not improve your schore, you do not have to send the score. Best of luck.
