Would I be ok at Bates without an interview and SATs?

i think if you have some good essays and recs you're in

I would call and talk to the admissions office about your situation. That way, even if you can't get an interview, they will still know that you are interested. Without an interview, your chance of acceptance drops to around 13% and those are usually international students and people who come off the waitlist.

What would you suggest I say, I just became interested in your school and its too late for an interview? or should I ask for an interview even though its past the deadline?

Either sounds just fine, just make sure to give your name and make some kind of contact to show that you are interested.
