Too late?

I'm so stupid

All this time I thought I had no chance at Stanford, so I didn't even bother trying to apply. But just now, for many reasons I realize I really, really should apply. A few of my classmates are applying, and I think I'm at least as qualified as them. It's Dec. 13 right now, I guess if I start right away I can do a decent job.

But recs and the student eval. might be a problem. Getting them in 2 days is gonna be hard. Will Stanford accept them if they're mailed a little late? I'm guessing hell no, or at the very least it will be definitely looked down upon.

Stanford won't care too much about when your TEACHER recs are mailed in (do you really think they start reading applications exactly on the 15th? More than likely, they'll be buried in mail for the next week!). Get your part postmarked by the deadline (even a day late won't hurt you), and just ask your teachers to send in what they can asap.

If the teachers wrote your recs already (for other schools), and they really LOVE you, you might be able to convince them to send it on time...

have the same problem, but here are some thoughts

heh I'm gonna try and make it, I even have exams tomorrow

when's the exact deadline? I thought I saw Dec. 15 12:00am EST but is that right? if so, **** :( The UCs and other schools accepted up to 11:59pm the day of the deadline. provided I get everything done online before midnight, am I still good?

also what about the transcript; can that, plus the recs, come a bit later?
