yeah so im guessing its way too late...i was gonna apply back in january but was the application deadline due jan 1?

Yes, it was.

Yep, I'm sorry but I don't get it. I mean College Admissions are one of the most important things in a persons' life and Cornell is a very famous and selective University. How do people forget to apply before the deadline.

I don't mean to offend you or anything, I'm just talking in general here.

o well heres how it happened..

got a lot of money from a good private college i applied to in late december so my parents wanted me to try for another private and i was like well i wanted to apply to cornell but figured it would cost too much/didnt know if my parents would want me applying anymore

so long story short, i decided to try it and now im really regretting it for some reason...

i mean regretting that i didnt get to apply

So, you have nothing to lose in calling admissions and just asking if you could apply now. The worse they can say is no.

Thanks for the info Collegeb, but like I said I just talking about others in General who complain how they forgot to apply to xyz.

I suggest calling them to. You have nothing to lose. Good Luck :)

wow you really think so...i never considered that an option.

guess you all are right

thanks!

Do it NOW and report back. Go for it!!

hey they said they couldn't let me...but its all good i feel better now that I atleast asked. Maybe next year? thanks guys

Yeah, same kind of thing happened to me as well. I am planning to postpone college and then apply to cornell well before the deadline. I am wondering, will they look down upon my application because I missed the deadline and took a year off doing something else other than going to school>?

what will u be doing. if it is something meaningful, it could actually help you.

That's a excellent question.
