Too Late?

Hello folks:
Im a sophmore this year and after looking at the AP registration form last week I suddenly realized I could take the AP World History test this year with some preparation. My school doesnt offer AP World History (currently taking regular world history). I asked my history teacher and he was like "I believe you can do it". I had a solid A last semester (96%) but the problem here is that I havent even started studying for it at all!!! After doing some research online I concluded that my world history class covers about 50-60% of the materials on the test (not very good).

The AP World History test in on May 14th and it seems like I would have around 9 weeks to study for it. Im also taking AP Computer Science and AP Japanese in addition to SAT2 Math 2C on May 2nd. I can sqeeze out about an hour each day for History but I dont have any mad memorization skillz. So do you guys think I should try this? And how hard is the test? (the average score was a 2.7 O.o)

ps. History is my favorite subject at school

you should do it
last year i also took the ap world history test and got a 5 by just reading the princeton review book the night before, but i knew about 40% of the information before from taking ap european history

it is definitely doable, and i recommend you start studying from an early date, however, you should definitely take the test

Its totally doable. Go for it.
