I don’t intentionally read/post on high school forums - however, my preferred method of visiting the site is to read the “Latest Posts”. Which means I see posts across all forums, some of which apply to me, many of which don’t. For example, I’ll typically ignore posts in prep school forums, or about colleges I have no personal knowledge of.
I expect there are others who do the same thing, and jump in if they have pertinent information regardless of the focus of the particular forum - even the high school life forum.
Don’t be so myopic. There are a lot of very wise and helpful parents here. But starting out on cc by posting a thread critiquing some parents here is simply ill advised.
It is not that we are on CC instead of our kids…it is that we want to find out about the process, share stories with others, get input…after all, we parents are often paying for it. We want to find the best school and the least price.
