Too Many Credits? A Little Help!

I'll be transferring to Columbia and am majoring in Indus. Eng and minoring in Cosi.

As it stands, I have to take 82 credits in 4 years (or 20.5 each semester). Is that to much? Or will I manage will a little extra work?

Thank you

Isn’t 82 credits in 4 years only a little over 10 credits a semester?

Whether you’ll manage depends on how smart you are, how hard you’re willing to work, whether you’re shooting for A’s or for B’s, etc.

^yeah, getting a B-B+ in industrial engineering in doable, not easy but doable. Getting even an A in some classes is manageable because IEOR curves well compared to other engineering departments. But there will be some classes which curve to a B- and then getting an A or A- is really not easy.

I assume you mean 4 semesters since you are a transfer, 20.5 is tough, in IEOR it’s easier, but not easy, you will have a devote a lot of time to working on academics, but some people manage this easily every semester, C02 phrased it correctly.
