Too many letters?

<p>Does my high school guidance councilor's letter (sent along with my transcript and secondary school report) count as an official letter of recommendation? Same with my academic adviser here at my current university?</p>

<p>I have two of my professors sending letters, as well as a teacher from my high school. Is this too many? </p>

<p>It may be appropriate to scratch the HS teacher rec, because colleges don’t ask transfers for that.</p>
