So, is it laziness, boredom, arrogance, what? WHy skip so many days, and what do you do with your time?

I really would like to understand why you feel entitled to just not show up...

I really do come when I have to, but when we're just watching a silly movie, or going over hmwk first 15 mins and then the rest of class is "do whatever you want", why bother when I can stay at home and study for APs? School takes a huge toll on me, and after 7 hrs of the main part of the day is over, I just want to crash and not pick up an AP prep book or do anything else when I get home, especially after I get home after doing club work, ECs, etc. I get a lot of things done when I don't go to school . . . . cash deposits, mail summer program apps, study, dress shopping, read about college on CC (;)). But some teachers really don't care, and it shows . . . so I don't care either, I mean I'm not going to come to a period of class and do nothing for 50 minutes, you know? It's not arrogance, actually I had to go back to talk to my 1st period teacher today and she thought the same thing too. . .

"I'm really concerned Sarah, you're such a good student, and you know, at first I thought you just decided to not come because you didn't need my help, but due to your last test grade, I think you're not giving your full potential . . ." (last test grade was like a B instead of the usual A lol) . ..

Sooo basically I had to give the whole "don't worry i'll shape up I just had to attend a doctor's appt this morning, and I really do want to come, I love the class blah blah" so she wouldn't call the parents . . if I weren't her best student, she probably would've called anyway.

I know that wasn't the answer you wanted to hear CGM, but these type of skills help later in life, i dunno but for me, it's hard to abide by all rules completely and fully . . . my dad's the one who taught me to talk your way out of trouble anyway lolz.

In fact I think I'll be the first val from this school to have that many missed school days
