Too Many Options

Okay so there are 27 colleges I'm potentially applying to next year and I need some advice to narrow my list down. Some of the colleges on my list I know I will be applying to. These include:
Franklin College (Free Tuition and 100 percent acceptance into Vet and Med School)
University of Chicago
Purdue University

Now I'm working on a list of colleges to visit this summer. Ideally I would be applying to 5 or 6 colleges total. I'd probably visit say 8 colleges this summer. (I've already visited the ones I'm definitely applying to)

The list I'm narrowing down for visits includes:
Brown
Dartmouth
Swarthmore
Amherst
Northwestern
Emory
Brandeis
Wake Forest University
Bates College
Bucknell University
Auburn University
Boston University
University of South Carolina
University of Puget Sound
Emerson College

Thanks so much for any and all advice!

What are you looking for in a college? Size, location, cost… What are you wanting to major in? We need more info to help you narrow down.

Anyone who claims 100% acceptance into med school is gatekeeping. That means they will only support the applications of students that they know are going to get accepted. If med school is important to you, ask to talk to the premed advisor and some senior premed students and ask what is required to get (and keep) support for med apps.

If you are definitely going to med school, you should try for the BS/MD programs which will automatically enroll you into the medschool.

If you’re looking to go to Med school, I have no idea why Emerson is on your list.
