Too Many Recommendations?

I have 5 possible letters and my plan is to have each sent to my college counselor and have him decide which ones to send to which school.

Is this okay? Can my college counselor read my recommendations? If I have multiple options, is it acceptable for him to read them and decide which is best?

Also, if three of the letters are non-academic, basically extras, am I allowed to see those?

k........sure dude

i'll 2nd that.

Counselors are usually able to read the teacher recommendations. Ask your counselor if you can read your non-academic recommendations (are you talking about leadership outside the school or sports teams?).

Make sure, though, that you know the recs requirements for each uni. Some require one science/math and one English/social sciences, others require only one English... So if you want your counselor to do the work for you, at least make sure he knows what the requirements for each are.
