Too Many Sciences?

Hello CC Forum,
Weirdly enough, I'm planning out my junior year already, and I was just wondering if it's "unhealthy" to take too many sciences in one year. If anything, could it possibly be beneficial to take four at once? My junior year may look something like this:
Honors Accelerated Pre-Calculus
Honors US History
Honors American Literature
AP Physics B
AP Chemistry
AP Biology
AP Environmental Science*

*Self-studied

As for my senior year, I'd be taking other APs, and I'd still have AP Physics C and Honors Human Anatomy/Physiology as sciences, so don't worry about not having another science course or anything.

Thanks for the input.

Is AP English Language available to take as a junior at your school?
You might want to take that if it is to look a little more well rounded.
And, are you not taking any language course?

If you’re not interested in sciences , don’t do it.
If it makes you feel any better my senior year schedule is looking to be
AP Bio
AP Physics C
Aice Chemistry (Organic)
AP Lit
AP CALC BC
AP Gov
AP Stats

Yes, but it’s definitely my worst subject. I think I am going to take AP US History, though.
I’m taking Honors Spanish III this year, but AP Spanish is not offered at our school and Spanish is becoming boring… I’m more interested in something like science anyway.

I love math and science courses. I wish I could take three of each.

I know now, you will struggle with time management and won’t fully grasp the concepts compared to taking at least 1 or 2 in the same year.
I wanted to do AP bio and AP physics along with 4 other AP’s and thank god I didn’t because I know I don’t even have the time.

If your willing (truly) and will have 2 hours a day available, even more, just for those sciences, you can do it.
But what’s really my concern is, you probably won’t grasp the concepts. You’re going to be drowning yourself with science and I don’t think colleges will look at that positively.
If anyone disagrees with me, it’s okay, if you know anybody that did something like that. I would like to hear it, because you have to be truly dedicated.

Hi I’m a current Junior and this is my schedule this year:
AP Chem
AP Stats
AP Lang and Comp
APUSH
Physics Honors
Pre-Calc and Discrete Math Honors

I can testify to the difficulty of taking 4 or more APs in a year. I usually spend nearly 5 hours daily on homework and studying to maintain decent grades. I would advise you not to take all of those sciences in one year and balance them out, and perhaps take APUSH or AP Stats if your school offers them instead of all sciences. You may be really interested in the sciences like I am, but colleges have told me that they want well rounded students. This is just my two cents on the topic, otherwise it’s completely up to you.

I’ll trust you guys on this one. Is this a better-looking schedule for junior year instead?

AP English Language
AP United States History
AP Chemistry
Honors Accelerated GPS Precalculus
AP Statistics
ASL I / AP Psychology / Honors Spanish IV (I haven’t decided on my last elective. All of these interest me, ASL I more so than the others.)

I think two sciences is perfectly reasonable. You could even take three if two were biology and environmental science. If you are good at math, I would say it is easier to self-study Physics B. Physics B is ridiculously easy.
