Well, I was accepted into CoE as a mechanical engineering major... but recently ive become very interested in computer science. I know I don't want to change my major, so I was considering a double major? or not... I've heard thats suicide... perhaps a minor in CS? I don't know!! TT I'm also pretty sure I'll be doing pre-med, so this is all getting out of control. SO many things I want to do with my life, but so little time! Plus, i want a social life in college... and i heard double major = no free time?</p>
<p>You don’t need to double major. A lot of mechanical engineering people have a strong CS-bent to their work and research. Anyway you don’t have to decide now, just work in as many computer classes as you can and you’ll be fine whatever you decide you want to do.</p>
<p>Ah, you’ll have a fun time in Berkeley. Good inspired people. Double major =|= free time, just manage it well!</p>
