So this might be the wrong place to ask this but I kinda need help with a question that just won’t go away.
So I intend to transfer by this Fall 2016 to either UCLA/Berkeley/Davis
And I have a question regarding SAP and financial aid.
By the time I transfer, I will have 108 attempted units (long story don’t ask).
I know that their is limit of 150% of units for financial aid towards BA, so I can still make it without passing over the limit as long as I don’t keep adding or dropping classes.
But is there limit to how many units you can have attempted within a school year or individual semester at these UC?
My CCC doesn’t do this but I’m curious if UCLA, Berkeley or Davis do.
This the question that I desperately want an answer for. Nobody at my school can answer this, and I’m getting worried that by the time I transfer I will be cut off from aid.
If all your units are from the CC, then you’ll transfer in with only 70, just like everyone else.
@naregian
But from what I read on their site, all of your college credits count, even the ones not counted from transferred.
The count but not as credits.
@naregian
So they don’t do credit limit by semester regarding financial aid?
Just as a program (BA) as a whole?
bump
I didn’t get a clear answer to my question.
The answer is don’t worry about it.
@lindyk8
But what about if they cut off aid from me? Sorry I’m a huge worry wart and I freak out about the littlest thing. Oh well I should find out the 2nd of June when I go on school funded tour by my CC to go see Berkeley and Davis.
As the others have said, there is no limit if all your units are from CCC. If you don’t believe us call Cal and ask.
I don’t think there’s even such a thing as cutting off financial aid because of units???
Ok.
I believe all of you.
Sorry like I mentioned before, I misread things and then start to panic. Panic first, ask questions after.
