My highschool is introducing new AP classes like European history to boost GPA
If you plan on majoring in a science of math field, is it necessarily good to take that? Or will colleges see you boosting in an unfavorable light?

No, most colleges require you to take “general education courses” (things not related to your major). If you get credit for the Euro history at the school you attend, you would have one less general education course to take-leaving you with more room to take electives/ add minors or second majors.

Also, taking Euro history will not look like you are trying to inflate your GPA-it will look like you are trying to take a rigorous schedule. (Although I would not recommend taking an AP elective in history if you are bad at history-that might ruin your GPA-and you do not want to overwhelm yourself).
