Too much focus?

I just realized that all my EC's/ community service/ essays and the like pertain to just one theme (music). Would colleges consider me "one-dimensional"? Would this negatively impact my chances?

For some colleges, it would be considered a strength. Anyway, most colleges don't factor ECs into admission decisions, but instead rely on grades, scores, courses and class rank. It's only the very top colleges for which ECs count a great deal. That's because they have an overabundance of high stat applicants, so the colleges select students to create a well rounded class.

it depends on what schools, i think that it will help you. Colleges like kids who are dedicated to one thing, rather than well rounded people who dont have a passion for one single thing

How do the Ivy league schools view it?

The Ivies almost always view it as a strength. Of course, with the Ivies you also have to demonstrate that you are talented in what you do. They'll love that you're really devoted to something but also have to excel in that field.
