I was going through my Brown essays, and realized that all of them mention computer science except the open-ended. I'm applying as a computer science major, but I was wondering if sounding obsessed with it would be a bad thing? I can't help it; there's all the separate CS major essays, and the reason I'm applying to Brown is for its CS. Should I try and shake it up a bit, or will this show my sincerity? Thanks!

Open-ended? talk about something non-academic..

I am, for the open-ended one. It's the others I'm talking about.

I think it will be fine. If you talked about it on your open-ended, too, I would be concerned. But, if you show a different aspect of yourself on your personal statement, and your CS ones weren't too repetitive, then I think you're fine. It's good for your application to have a bit of a focus.
