I just finished writing my common app personal statement and I'm wondering now if I did it all wrong. I wrote it in response to the "Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you." prompt. I was having trouble starting and people kept saying stuff like "Just write as if you were telling a story." So that's what I did, and now i really only have one paragraph that "evaluates" the situation. Now looking at examples of essays/other people's essays, no one's is really like mine so I'm kind of worried... What do you think? You can read it if this isn't really making any sense to you.

bump...please? its kind of an emergancy.

Post this on the college fourms, too. More opinions usually mean better essays.

I know I'm panicing, too.

Evaluating the situation is ok, as long as it's personal.
