Too much transferrable units?

I am a 3rd year community college student majoring in international studies and if I decide to stay one more year, my units might spike up to 95-105 semester units. As a community college student, would all UCs be okay with that? Or would some UCs automatically reject? How about USC? I know that it would only transfer as subject units after the maximum units but if I stay one more year I'm willing to risk that. Please help me out! Thank you in advance!

There’s no unit limit if all of your units come from a CC. That’s because they don’t consider CC units to be upper division units and therefore can’t progress you past junior standing. It’s also why when you transfer you’re credited a maximum of only 105 quarter units (70 semesters units) regardless of if you completed more than than amount of CC units. Students that either are transferring directly from a four year university or that have a combination of four year and CC units may be subject to a unit limit because those universities offer upper division courses and accumulating a certain number of units would advance them to senior level standing, which in most cases is an ineligibility to transfer to a UC. As a transfer, I had over 100 CC units because I stayed 3 years and was accepted and transferred with no issues.
