Too Poor? Transfer out options?

OK so i made it into northeastern, not bad considering it was the the only school I applied to; however, they refuse to give me enough money to come anywhere near my EFC. My EFC is roughly 2,000 dollars as assessed by Northeastern Financial aid department themselves, The would be giving me 25,781 in grants AND federal loans, leaving me to pay the remaining 22-23,000.

Sadly my only option is to transfer out after the first year, can anyone give me an adequate approximation of my transfer options (hopefully ones that meet the full demonstrated need) assuming I pull a decent GPA (3.7-4.0)?

Frankly, if you are going to transfer after the first year and will be this much in debt, I would advise against attending NEU at all. Another option might be to enroll in a (much cheaper) community college for the first year while you do further research on other colleges.

NEU has never been known to meet full need and offers very few full-ride scholarships.
