Too soon to tell?

I have known several people who have gotten suspended (often for dumb reasons) and then gotten into Ivy League schools, including Harvard. One guy sneaked out of his room on some field trip and ended up saving someone's life that night. They gave him an award and suspended him. But that's beside the point. Harvard can tell (from interviews, essays, recs) what kind of person you are. The admissions people are smart and can differentiate between good kids and shady kids who are suspended for whatever reason. Give them some credit. Plus, if they have questions about your suspension, they'll call your school for some clarification if they don't think your suspension fits in with what they know about you.
