<p>man...my teacher showed us the answers today and I missed the EASIEST PROBLEM (#9.....GERRRRRRRR). i got 96 points b/c i didn't bubble in more than 14 answers. so playing safe wasn't a good option. haha, oh wellXD</p>
<p>96 could easily be the cutoff...for the 12A the cutoff was 97.5 or something. Keep your hopes up, you might get another chance! (Unless you took the AMC10, in which case better luck next year). :)</p>
<p>really? the instruction on the front of the packet said "if you score above 100 or are in the top 5%.....oh wait nm, i seeXD well, i'll keep hoping then :)!</p>
<p>I got a 97.5 I think. One mistake I make was thinking 90 + 60 was 120, not 150. There was also another one I answered which ended up being right but I had erased it at the last minute.</p>
<p>Bitter irony...this is my 173rd post, and 173 was the correct answer to one of the questions I got wrong.</p>

<p>We have 10 people that qualified for AIME this year from the 12A/B. None from 10A/B. I guess our frosh/sophs are dumb. Highest score was 130.5 in my school. Crazy, I know.</p>
