Took my tests before the summer, but also retaking in October, when to send?

I'm applying EA/ED. I planned to send all my scores (along with my Oct. one) now (or within 9 days of Oct. test date) but I'm afraid my EA/ED schools won't receive my older scores in time. So I think I'll have to spend like extra $80 to send them separately, Nov-Jun once and then October once?

I really need assistance.

ACT or SAT? I believe they handle that differently. Also, the college should say if October is in time or not, most EAs I’ve seen say Nov and after is too late but not October.

SAT.
Yeah I know it’s not too late…but what about my previous scores?
Is it okay to send them altogether? Seems like even if I send them now together, my previous scores won’t send until the Oct. score is sent.

If you send the old ones now - paying the fee to do so - they’ll go now. If you send them with the October scores, they’ll all go then. If you log into CB to send those Oct scores you’ll see this message:

Yeah I’ll spend some more money and sent all my scores now. But I asked the dean on CC and she said I should send my oct scores after I see them because nov sat scores are still accepted by most of the colleges I’m applying to. Is that okay? (Except for umich)

If you send four before you see them they’re free, as you know. Any school will only look at your highest anyway so sending the October scores along with the old ones automatically seems best to me, but your call.

Right. I don’t think I would do worse, but what if I don’t do much better? I know Penn doesn’t use score choice. Do you think there will be more pressure for me if I send my test scores to colleges (Oct included) now?

Only you can say if that adds pressure. But I believe schools when they say they take the highest scores.

Yeah they do. Maybe to be safe, I should send my SATs without Oct. to UMich first (their policy) and then send the rest to other colleges and the Oct. test to UMich in October after I take it. Do you think that’s a good plan? I have eight waivers so that should work perfectly.

If you have SAT waivers, I think you only have 4 ( 2 SAT and 2 subject though it may be that they send everything you want them to send anyway). That is total (plus the 4 free that come with any test if you send before you know the score). <a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board;

Yes, only 4. <a href=“Send SAT Scores to Colleges - SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board;

I mean I have 8 waivers to send scores. 4 from Oct test.

Gotcha. You have to use the Oct test ones before you know the scores but you have 4 more to use whenever.

Good luck :)

Thanks.
