So I just joined, in order to ask this actually, I took the SAT in 9th grade as a sort of see what’s going to happen later test. but now I’m a junior and I just took the new SAT. some of the colleges I’m planning on applying to require me to send all of my scores, does that include the one from 9th grade or can I leave that one out and just send all of my scores from junior year and on, I plan to take both the SAT and ACT one more time in my senior year.
They will most likely still require it, but they will not look at it with judgement. Many people take it freshman year/ earlier on to get into programs and they don’t look at those people badly for trying to be ambitious.
Yes you have to send the score from 9th grade.
They will want the score, but probably won’t consider it much once they see you took it as a freshman.
You’ll have to send it, but they won’t hold it against you at all, guaranteed.
If the school requires all score, you will have to send in even it was taken in 9th grade. Most school would consider your better score anyway. Nevertheless, you should have saved that money and just do a practice test. Princeton Review and Kaplan also provide free mock test in the Summer.
