Took the ACT 8th grade... When should I take it again?

<p>So I took the ACT when I finished 8th grade as part of talent search, and without prep, I got a 31 (35M/34S/29E/25R).</p>

<p>When I take it again, I'm confident that I'll be able to get a 36 on math (I had a lot of time to go back and check when I took it, but I didn't know how to do this one problem, which I got wrong). My English and Reading subscores have definitely gone up since then, but I don't know by how much. Reading will still definitely be my weakest subsection. I'm aiming for the 35-36 range. I definitely don't want to take it more than two times, and I also won't retake if I get a 35.</p>

<p>I will be relatively busy this summer, but probably not as busy next summer. Either way, I can still fit in time to study for the ACT.
When should I take it?</p>
