I took the PSAT as a junior and got a 185, cold, without much studying. If I took the SAT and ACT after preparation, what do you think are attainable scores from this range? 61 Reading, 62 Math, and 62 Writing. Much to my surprise, my scores were pretty consistent.

Someone else was referring to their “measly” 200, so I really don’t know what to expect.

It depends on how much effort you’re willing to put in (: I’ve read stories here about jumping from 1800 to 2200+ for the SAT. You can definitely pull up Math and Writing to a 700+ by doing more practice questions and familiarising yourself with the kind of questions CB likes to ask. Reading is harder to improve, did you miss more vocab or passage-based questions?

If you are willing to improve you can, by a lot. If you don’t put the time in, you just won’t. I got a 190 something sophomore year and 199 junior year…I am practicing right now 2300+ on BB tests after a couple month of studying.
