Took the sat 4 times.. am i screwed?

1st time -2140
2nd - 2100
3rd - 2230
4th -2110

As you can see my scores pretty much went down besides that 2230. Will colleges (mostly UCs) look at this unfavorably? Is it actually true that most colleges only consider your highest score??

A 2230 is great, you should probably stop taking it now that you’ve already tried 4 times. I don’t think colleges will look down on the fact that you took it 4 times, but don’t take it anymore. They don’t want to see test taking as an extracurricular.

This is amusing, I have thread that I titled “Am I screwed” as well, however you’re insecure about outstanding SAT scores (I can only hope for 2000+), whereas I am insecure about stats that look like they belong to a 3rd grader.

oh god i definitely will not be taking the SAT again. I don’t even know why I took it the 4th time… I feel so foolish. I’m just scared that colleges will think I’m obsessed with test taking. Haha DenisRS you can do it

Thank you. Good luck on your pursuit of knowledge! With scores like that I’m sure you won’t go wrong (:

They look at your highest score unless they superscore, in that case they will take your best score from each section.

Statistically speaking these are all pretty much the same score…all are in the 99th percentile.
