How is this at all a “fascinating” college vs. college consideration?

How is this at all a “fascinating” college vs. college consideration?

ouch at the christian college :(

I’m pondering Tufts University or Bowdoin College. Tough one.

here is an odd one:

Admitted: UC Berkeley
Waitlisted: Cal State Long Beach

^That makes no sense to me… at all.

lol

ucsd vs university of puget sound

I know of someone deciding between Princeton and full ride at Auburn…I hope the choice Princeton!!!

Good Lord, that is tough. I don’t envy you at all. What part of the country might he want to end up in? That might help. Otherwise my inclination is to take the scholarship.

Is money a factor? Otherwise I’d probably go for Northwestern, unless she doesn’t like Chicago and/or cold winters.

Claremont McKenna is better than you may think. For me it’s a slam dunk with that money.

Emory vs. Indiana University…

how about
Wash U vs. Swarthmore vs Vassar

how about Clemson vs. South Carolina haha

how bout Villanova vs Virginia Tech. thats my dilemma. help me out (engineering)

That one for me would be a cinch: Swarthmore. *Presuming *I felt up to the academic challenges: it’s a notorious pressure cooker. But not knowing anything about you, it’s otherwise difficult to counsel! ‘Quality of Life’ matters a lot to me and Swat’s in a nicer place than the others. But of course they’re all good schools and congrats to you if you have this choice!

How about:
George Washington U vs University of Montana?

^^^ GW and Montana. I love it! :)

I actually know a person who has a similar choice to that. How about New College of Florida vs. Montana vs. GW?

Princeton or Cambridge or MIT

I have a friend who picked Montana over GWU

I’d pick Montana over GW - I hate DC, and I’ve heard very good things about the Montana English department.

I did pick Montana (Honors College) over GWU. I thought I wanted the big city but my visit to Missoula changed my plans. U Montana has strong programs in Writing, Journalism, Wildlife Biology and more with lots of opportunities for experiential learning, undergrad research, internships, study abroad and lots of scholarships. It’s big enough to have options but feels small and friendly. Missoula is gorgeous not to mention hiking, climbing, fly fishing, kayaking, and skiing.
