<p>I am not sure that NYU Law is better. The peer ratings according to academe and practicing judges seems to rate those two equally. Columbia may have a small edge though. Recruitment activity by the major firms certainly supports that. So congratulations on your full ride to Michigan Law. On a positive note, I understand Michigan is pushing hard to return to its past glory. There was a time when Michigan Law, along with Harvars and Yale law, was considered part of the “Law Trinity”.</p>
<p>For Business, Chicago is arguably the strongest of the second group, which includes Sloan, Haas, Stern, Ross, Chicago, Columbia and maybe Tuck (Dartmouth).</p>
