colgate has the most beautiful campus of all the ones i have seen, but has a terrible surrounding area (town population 3000...)

Loyola College in Maryland

Any new construction has been built with the similiar style of facade. It looks absolutely beautiful, you would never know that there has been new construction. Slight variations to each building, but it maintains the atmosphere.
I would have put Georgetown in this list, but the library is absolutely horrid. It totally ruins what is a beautiful campus and river/skyline view.

Stanford will remain the most beautiful campus I've ever seen.

Indiana
Pepperdine
Loyola
MiamiU
Sewanee
Wake
Elon
Texas A&M --> Not the campus itself, but the attitude and feel of the campus makes it beatiful
Cornell
Colgate
Florida State
Almost all the UC's
Santa Clara
USD

University of Rochester!!

All the pictures I've seen of Wagner College are beautiful (in Staten Island).

And I've got to say, if you look at our quad area, OCU is really nice, too, especially when there's snow. We have a very green campus, with lots of trees and grass, and old-looking brick buildings. But you have to ignore all the construction...

we have all forgotten Richmond ... damn us

i think its easier to make a 'least attractive campus' list. not trying to stir the pot, but i think we can all agree that there are many beautiful, picturesque campuses out there.

So thus far the Top 10 Prettiest Colleges/Universities according to CC are...

i can't believe that Kenyon hasn't been mentioned. the campus is absolutely stunning. even though i the school.

UCSB. Hands down. The beach is right there and Santa Barbara is one of the more beautiful towns in California and the US. I live there. I'd know. The buildings and architecture aren't the greatest but you cant beat the location... And the girls too. tee hee.

I don't pretend that mines campus is the most beautiful of all of them (University of Southern California), but it definitely is the one that most people are surprised about. Most people think that since it's in an urban area it must be very dense and dingy and with lots of buildings. Really it's one of the most beautiful urban campuses there is...

I've never been to UCSD or UCSB, but I've heard they're quite nice, and definitely I can believe that...

But for overall, I vote Stanford as well.

Have you not seen Middlebury?! =-O

UCLA has some nice builings (Kerckhoff Hall is my favorite), but damn is the campus big.

USC is cool too.

Duke is awesome. Gothic architecture is the best.

I live near Stanford and for debate I've traveled to and seen a fair number of campuses. For a while I thought that Stanford had the most amazingly beautiful campus ever.

But Stanford's got nothing on UCLA. Nothing.

UCSC is nice too, incidentially, as most of the campus is on a hill that faces the ocean, but it's not UCLA.

Penn State: Abington

Very Nice Landscape: Hills, Forrest Area, old style buildings, a large lake/pond, a creek, and other neat oddities.

I live by the beach at Orange County, and Santa Barbara is much more beautiful.

UC Santa Barbara is BEAUTIFUL! IT'S IN FRONT OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN.

Humboldt--you can't get any better than the redwoods! (OK, so I'm a bit biased)
