<p>Has anyone been notified that they are receiving the Top 10% Scholarship? We were notified by UT, but TAMU has not said anything. These are state controlled scholarships and I would expect TAMU to also offer them.</p>
<p>Also, has anyone see other grants offers from TAMU? We only seen one small scholarship, but nothing about grants yet.</p>
<p>My son has not been awarded this yet (we are Texas residents). It appears this scholarship is considered to be “need-based” instead of merit-based since you must fill out FAFSA to be eligible. I spoke to financial aid today and they are now saying mid April for the “need-based” financial aid (scholarships, grants, and loans). </p>
<p>The top 10% has been reduced in texas to $600</p>
