Top 10 schools in your opinion.

Just curious. What would you people consider the top 10 schools in the country academically and professionally (consider job placement later on). I have had enough of the stupid USA Today list and would like slightly more reliable info from you guys! :)

Also...which college would offer the best experience to an undergrad?

Harvard

Stanford

Yale

Princeton

MIT

Duke

UPenn

CalTech

UC-Berkeley

Darthmouth

Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, MIT, CalTech, Penn, Dartmouth, Columbia, Duke

For undergrad (so no Berkeley/UMich)

Harvard

Yale

Princeton

Stanford

MIT

Penn

Duke

Dartmouth

Columbia

Chicago

CalTech doesn't count for me, because it's basically a glorified science school (whereas MIT still has strong programs in non-science areas).

Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Harvard, MIT, CalTech, Columbia, Duke, Dartmouth, Cornell

liberal arts: princeton, harvard, yale, stanford, columbia, dartmouth, brown, northwestern, UVa, Georgetown

How can you do a list of top ten liberal arts school without any LACs?

Here's mine:
1.Johns Hopkins
2.Penn
3.Duke
4.Swarthmore
5.Williams
6.Stanford
7.Cal
8.Yale
9.UMich
10.Georegetown

A bit unconventional, but what can I say

Universities:

Yale
Stanford
Princeton
MIT
Penn
CalTech
Columbia
Harvard
UVA
Brown

I think the East Coast bias is important along with access to good graduate programs or business, thus:
Harvard
Yale
Princeton
MIT
Stanford
Amherst
Williams
Columbia
Northwestern
Chicago
[]Harvard
[]Yale
[]Princeton
[]Stanford
[]MIT
[]Caltech
[]Cornell
[]UCB
[]Columbia
[]UPenn
I think that the University of Chicago has been bumped down to #15 by the USNews rankings for some crazy reason. I would most definately put it in the top ten.

I don't know much about other schools, nor have I visited, so I am just putting a plug in for Chicago. :)

Bob Jones University is definitely #1 on my list

"liberal arts: princeton, harvard, yale, stanford, columbia, dartmouth, brown, northwestern, UVa, Georgetown"

sorry, that was for liberal arts subjects........... it has nothing to do with LACs.

1) Stanford
2) Harvard
3) Yale/Princeton/MIT
4) UPenn
5) Chicago
6) Caltech
7) Berkeley
8) Columbia
9) Dartmouth
10) Michigan

....Michigan?

just my humble opinion
1- harvard
2-yale
3-princeton
4-MIT
5-stanford
6-duke
7-penn
8-columbia
9-Oxford
10- Georgetown

Top 10:

THE BIG FIVE:
Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT

THE NEXT FIVE:
Caltech, Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, UPenn

(Ivies - less Cornell + Stanford / MIT / Caltech)

in no particular order:

Stanford
MIT
Cornell
Yale
Princeton
Chicago
Columbia
Brown
Harvard
Duke

Tacoma Community College all the way! haha
