Top 10 Undergrad Biz

What would you expect the minimum GPA to be for a transfer into a top 10 undergrad biz school....3.5 ?

my school's #9 via business week and I think for non-residents it takes a 3.7-3.8 GPA.

how bout for Transfers cuz i heard its alot easier

that is for transferring as a non-resident. If you're within the school usually its easier. in some cases it isn't (Stern for instance)

IU you need probably a 3.0 OOS, and you have to apply really early.

oh really...how about like McCombs, Marshall, and Kenan-Flagger

3.7 to be competitive.

and only 3.0 of UI...how come such a big difference

You'd probably need a 4.0 and have an internet startup that was featured on Businessweek to be competitive for a transfer to Wharton.

"IU you need probably a 3.0 OOS, and you have to apply really early."

I was just accepted by IU the other day, and I applied very late (2 weeks ago). I had a 3.4 coming from a community college (OOS).

you guys are talkin about kelley right, not the university as a whole

It's Indiana University, not University of Indiana. You have to apply to the university division, you can apply to Kelley after your first semester on campus. If you want to be competitive to IU OOS, you need a 3.3 if you apply really late. But if you apply early a 3.0 should suffice.

mssales, are you going to be at kelly in the fall or IU?

Is there a Kelley direct admit program?

for HS students yes

I am not sure about transfers

I was talking about HS students....thanx anyways.

I ABHOR THE 60SECOND RULE!!!!!!!

I'm transferring in the spring of 07. I'm going to finish up my last two years.

Yes, Kelley has a direct admit for HS students only. You need a 3.5 UW GPA and a 1270 SAT I believe. Not sure ask some of the HS students they know better than I do.

IHateCA, Interested in Kelley?

where are you transfering from?

University of Southern Indiana. I'm going to major in finance. Try to get into the Investment Banking workshop, if I can't get into the workshop, then'll I'll do the Investment Banking seminar.

Well kind of. I'm really more interested in NYU Stern but I guess Kelley would be an excellent option also, looking at their high ibanking/management consulting placement rates.
