Desp...your St Ignatius numbers reinforce my contention that the Jebbies at Gtwon et al give extra weight to hs kids educated by Jebbies.

Well, it makes sense when you think about it. Look, all colleges are seeking students that mesh with their particular philosophy, especially private colleges. Harvard has a philosophy, Williams has a philosophy, UChicago has a philosophy, etc. They seek out and choose students they feel fit that particular philosophy. Jesuit schools have a particular philosophy, and it isn't entirely defined by Catholicism itself. A student from a Jesuit school that is attracted to a Jesuit college likely embraces and embodies that philosophy. Just like students from the Illinois Math and Science Academy disproportionately attend tech and engineering schools.

Benet Academy, Lisle, IL (2002-06)

dalton..upper east side school..probably one of the most popular schools rich folks send their kids..those numbers are not surprising. also, its over a 5 year period. anything on the dwight school? another posh nyc institute where half the student body does drugs and score 1500s on their SAT.

biggyboy....I was just checking out Dwight as you posted....they don't have matriculations stats, but here's a link to their college acceptances:
