<p>I can't believe anyone takes these lists seriously.</p>
<p>Happiness is a serious issue at many schools, including many top schools. A large number of schools frequently survey their students on the topic. Some schools have the difficult task of dealing with a large dissatisfied student population.
Wouldn't you want to know this sort of stuff before making a college decision. It is but one factor to consider, but an important one for some people.</p>
