Top 25 schools with transfer acceptance rates

Looking to transfer again this year, please post stats if anyone has them.

The College Board website has this information for the fall 2008 transfer class, 2009 numbers are likely not too different.

I transfered to NYU this year, and in the acceptance letter, it was noted that their transfer rate was the lowest in history, dropped from 30% to 11% or so for CAS.

so I think realistically all schools acceptance rates have dropped

NYU is not Top 25.

According to the USNWR, perhaps, but NYU is a top school.

I agree, but it was the OP that asked for acceptance rates to “Top 25” schools, not me. Be careful what you ask for ;).

I’d heard a rumor that Vanderbilt was going to drop quite a bit.

Screw NYU. I honestly don’t know why everyone worships NYU. It’s actually not that good. Yeah sure, it’s in NYC, but that doesn’t mean anything. I would definitely choose other schools over NYU, cuz I have friends that go to NYU and I have not heard good things about that place.

And where did you hear that Vandy was gonna go down? They actually went up in their rankings (only by one, but hey it’s still a lot higher than NYU), so Vandy is very legit. Don’t listen to other people, and check out Vandy. It’s a fun place and you won’t regret it once you get there.

I’m sorry, I should have been clear; I heard that their TRANSFER ACCEPTANCE RATE was going to go down, not their ranking.
