What are the 5 best branch campus at PennState besides UPark?? I want to make sure I put down a good 2nd choice if I don't get into UPark..

altoona is the only branch campus that isn't completely a commuter school

If you go to 'housing' on the psu website, there are actually 10 campuses listed that have dorms. I think Altoona is the most popular alternate to main campus (maybe because of it's proximity to UP--you can still go up there for football games and other stuff). Near Philly, some kids choose Berks if they want to live in the dorm because Abington has no housing.

Ditto no housing for Del. County.

Are there any current students reading these posts who attended branch campuses? I'd like to hear of their experiences....especially at Altoona campus.

i would also. i was just accepted into altoona, which was a huge disappointment. ive always sworn to myself i would never go to a penn state branch campus - it was strictly UPark for me. however, i just really cant see myself going to a different college.

Berks campus has some really nice dorms - they have really expanded the past few years.
