Hi, I am a junior in highschool, and I want to start planning for college more exhaustively...
I have 3.8 non weighted and 4.5 weighted GPA,
800 on SAT II Math lvl 2
800 on Korean with listening
2150 currently on my SAT (Shooting for 2250)
132 on AMC 10 (Top 1% national)

Which colleges are best for Biomechanical Engineering?
I also heard that BMech Engineering is only a subset.....and that BME (Biomedical Engineering) is not available for undergraduates.
So do I first major in Mechanical Engineering??

I googled this area a bit. It seems that you could minor in Biomechanical in some schools. Other schools have it as a Masters program. I think you might want to see where you could do it as a minor as an undergrad with Mechanical and if you love it, go on for your Masters.

Look for research groups that you like and aim to do undergraduate research with those professors (at the universities where they work). MIT has an excellent thrust in this area. You would major in Mechanical Engineering. In undergraduate, you will need the full four years to cover the groundwork for a biomechanical engineering specialty. Then in a workplace, or in a graduate program, you can further narrow down your major.
