SUNY Buffalo made number 15 in Regional rankings. I can't post the entire list, it would be copyright violation and the moderators would remove it.

Here is the criteria for selection:
"The National and Regional rankings are both determined by how recruiters rate each MBA program on 20 different attributes, their future plans to recruit students from the school, and the number of survey respondents who said they have recruited recently at the school. Business schools in the National ranking tend to attract a relatively large number of recruiters, many of whom come from national and multinational companies and pay high salaries. MBA programs in the Regional rankings are more likely to bring in recruiters from their region than the schools in the National ranking. They also generally have smaller MBA enrollments and attract fewer recruiters than the National schools".

most people in the business world know that the WSJ rankings are not reliable (nor are the FT, Forbes, or the Economist rankings). USNews and Business Week are the only two rankings that are accurate and actually reflect academics and recruiter opinions.

whatever, talk to most business execs about the WSJ rankings and most think they are laughable...they lost all credibility when a few years ago they ranked stanford 43rd...

if you want actual recruiter opinions definitely read BW as (themegastud said). They are the most reliable rankings.
I can assure you that 90+% of recruiters don't consider UNC or CMU better than HBS, etc. If that were true why does HBS have the highest average salary???

Alexandre referring to these rankings (btw these came out ages ago):

"WSJ is not reliable. Nor are the Economist, FT or Forbes rankings. The only two rankings that reflect the opinion of recruiters and academics are BW and USNWR. And I stated that clearly in my post above. I think that combining the two rankings gives the best picture. Harvard, Kellogg, Stanford and Wharton are the top 4. Chicago, MIT, Columbia and Michigan are the next 4. Tuck and Fuqua round up the top 10."

wow i just realized that in my earlier post I sound suprisingly similar to Alexandre...scary. lol
