hello everyone,

I'm sort of having a crisis about this whole college thing and I was wondering if anyone out there could give me some advice! here's the low-down on me (and please bear with me, I'm new to this):

My main questions are how much do SAT 2 scores matter and if I have a serious chance at these schools.

Vassar and Barnard are my top two choices and I couldn't decide between the two and apply ED. I know I'm going to major in Theatre with a focus in directing, but I want to either double major or minor or double minor in something else (probably education, english, Greek and Roman studies)

Quantitative things:
I am a: multi-racial (Jewish and Japanese) female from New York City from a high income family
Fluent in: English and French
GPA: 3.8 unweighted (somewhere around there, I believe that it has gone up)
SAT: 2110 (CR 720, M 700, W 690), I took it three times, and this is the superscored version
ACT: n/a
SAT II: Lit 690, Math 1 700. I've only taken these once (without studying) and plan on taking them on the Dec. sitting
Rank: top 10% of my class
AP and IB: My school is an incredibly academically and co-curricular-ly rigorous school, so they do not offer AP's or IB's as our classes are known to be on the same level as those courses.
Honors: Again, my school only offers accelerated for math and language due to its challenging nature. I'm in accelerated math and accelerated French and have doubled up in languages (Latin and French)
Senior Year course load: very challenging, I'm taking two accelerated courses and all other regular academic courses (English, Science, History). I'm also in my school's choir which practices four times a week, I take theatre 4 which meets three time a week, and I'm TA-ing/doing an independent study with the freshmen/sophomore theatre class which is also three times a week.
Major Awards: for all the years I've been taking Latin, I've taken the National Latin Exam and have been nationally recognized (on different levels) each year so far.

Other things:
Extracurriculars:
Theatre (in school) - part of every single production in high school as an actor and as a director and assistant director

Theatre (out of school) - I am the co-founder and Artistic Director of an all 21 and under theatre company in New York City. I made my Off-Off Broadway directing debut in March 2014 and have assistant directed a few professional readings in the city as well. I also have done some Off Broadway things as an actor and had a play of mine presented at Playwrights Horizons with Young Playwrights Inc. I also was a directing apprentice at Powerhouse Theater (which is part of Vassar) over the summer, where I was an apprentice to big theatre directors as well as directing my own stuff.

I am the Art Editor of my school's Art and Literary Magazine this year (a job for seniors only) and have been on the staff since the beginning of freshman year.

I'm a tour guide for my school's admissions office, which I've done since Junior Year (the position is only available to juniors and seniors by application only) and I give around 2 or 3 tours a week.

I sing in my school's choir and take classes in aerial arts (triple and static trapeze and lyra)

Jobs:
I have done a few internships in theatre with Young Playwrights Inc. and New York Musical Theatre Festival which I've gotten some minimal pay for...I also babysit a lot (like, a stupid amount, really)

Service:
I have done a lot of community service, mainly focusing in helping Hurricane Sandy victims after the storm. I also went on a service trip to Kenya and work with the middle school students at my school for theatre-related things.

Recs: all my recs will probably be good? Every single teacher knows me very well and has taught me for 3+ years. I'm also very close with my college counselor, as he traveled with me to Kenya and is very interested in theatre as well.

Essay: my essay is about how I didn't get one of the most amazing theatre internships and the outcome of all of that.

Thank you so so so so much!!
