Top Graduate Economics Programs (Globally)

Sorry if this is a repost, I've searched around a lot and found some that rank top US programs and a few that indirectly address the UK issue, but I'm wondering how the UK schools compare to the US ones, and how competitive I would be both for private sector and teaching jobs with various degrees.

Also, if you had any sort of knowledge on how competitive getting into these programs are (GPA, GRE, research, work experience, etc), that would be very useful.

Thanks!

Anyone have any opinions here at all?

Thanks for posting the links. Interesting to see hard profiles, though the results are generally depressing.
