Top "honors" programs-help!!!

I thought I had seen a thread listing the top honors programs at universities but with much seaching I cant seem to dig it up. I would love to know where it is or some insight into what people feel are the top honors programs. Wondering if going into an honors program at a lower tier school might get us more merit money than trying for a top tier school? Thanks for the help.

honors programs are good no matter what school you go to. When employers see graduated with honors, from any school, it makes a difference...

The Robert E. Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania is supposed to be good. IUP as a whole is considered a regional party school, though.

PSU Honors
Pitts Honors

along with most other solid/good state universities with honors colleges

Barrett honors college at ASU is a gem.
Even though I could never stand the thought of going to ASU (I'm instate, what can I say?)
But it is a good program, nonetheless.

Check out the University of Florida
