Top/Ivy SC/EA Colleges That Require Only 2 SAT IIs?

^ as the title says, does anyone know any?

If I recall correctly, Penn + Cornell only require 2, but they're both ED. Does anyone know about the others?

Columbia only requires two subject tests but they are also ed. I know Stanford recommends SAT II but aren't required and they are SCEA.

MIT,Caltech

Thanks guys. MIT requires a science though, and that's my weak point (only one below 700).

Also, when we send score reports (I'm guessing they're required for SATs), can we just send SAT I's, or are SAT I's and II's bundled?

I'm pretty sure Stanford recommends two. Might be wrong though, haven't checked in a while..

The score report has everything on it, no picking and choosing.

darn. Looks like my only real non-ED choice is Stanford.

With the exception of Harvard, Yale, Princeton, all other selective institutions just require two SAT II. This is what I know for sure :)

What places do you consider top? It is easy enough to look up potential colleges -- and you want to learn about places you might apply to in any event.

For instance, would you consider U of Chicago? This isn't single choice, but it has EA. What about UNC - Chapel Hill? These are just two I happen to know since my daughter applied to them EA.

DianeR, Mainly I'm looking for top 15 usnews. If I take the EA route (not SC), I'll probably apply to uchicago.

Pygmalion, I'm pretty sure Dartmouth and Brown both require 3 :(.

Edit: nevermind, both Dartmouth and Brown are 2 :).

Rice requires two. It has ED and ID (Interim decision... find out later than ED, but earlier than RD). They can be in whatever subjects you want.

UChicago requires no SAT II's at all. In fact, SAT scores have little effect on admission decisions, taking the most challenging curriculum available plus essays, followed by GPA and recommendations with test scores bringing up the rear, are the order of consideration. The SAT writing score is not considered and is not even reported to the admissions counselors.

Duke recommends but does not require any SAT II Tests

err...duke REQUIRES 2 sat subject tests.

any area you want, but math is required for engineering and such

Georgetown requires 3 also. There is a definitive listing at a site called college compass or something like that.

http://www.compassprep.com/admissions_req_subjects.aspx

"FInal 4 of SAT II-Georgtown, Harvard, Princeton, Yale."

Dartmouth requires only two. Early Decision, you just need to have them done by Jan. 1st I believe. (December testing date, either way.)

im pretty sure most colleges except for HYP and some other require only two. the writing part of SAT I counts as the third part. just to be safe, take another one.
