Top LACs that are "Brown-like"?

hinderpanda: I’m also into art, and just to warn you, it can be very difficult to get into RISD classes as a Brown student, and the more popular ones are nearly impossible to get into. The only way to really do both is to enter the new five-year program where you go to both schools and get a degree from both schools.

^ That’s what I’m aiming for.
But the chance of actually getting into that program is…well, it’s pretty much “no chance”…= =

Brown has plenty of jocks, but the social scene doesn’t revolve around sports events or Greek life. We joke about this one famously easy Geology class, “Rocks for Jocks,” but really, I think that everyone - jocks included - starts embracing their inner geek when they get to Brown. I’ve totally talked about comic books with a football player, and I know a guy on crew who is an avid bird watcher. Go figure!

santeria-- that’s the first I’ve heard that getting into the RISD classes is hard (as opposed to scheduling being a pain because they don’t match up well). Are you a current student? I have several friends who took many RISD classes that have all reported the process was seamless.

^ that’s good to know. xD
