Top MPP Programs - how to make it happen with a low GPA?

Hi All,

I will be graduating from Michigan in 2-3 semesters, and I am thinking about what lies ahead. I have a nice tech internship at a Fortune 500 in a great city, and I might end up working there after I graduate. However, a few years down the line, I would like to go for an MPP at a top school like Harvard Kennedy or Princeton Woodrow Wilson. I will likely graduate with a GPA at around a 3.0. My major is quantitative (think CS, Data Science, etc.). I know I can get a top notch GRE score, but I am not sure if that will make up for my GPA. My extracurricular involvement and civic engagement is phenomenal so far. How can I best play my cards to increase my odds at admission?

I plan on going into Management Consulting or Banking after the MPP, hopefully focusing within something like a public finance or impact investing group.

Thanks a ton for the insight!
