Top-ranked programs in average schools

<p>Those statistics would be nice but it would make for a pretty big magazine. I’ve seen lists of employers for internships and coops at university websites but no numbers or dates or majors. I imagine that it would be a fair amount of work to get that information as it would be student-reported and voluntary.</p>

<p>Ah as I see it, the availability of that data would be a mark of a good school. </p>

<p>The good schools I have taught at (public and private), all of which place students well, have well staffed career centers that religiously track such information. If they don’t have this data, and they might not, that would speak volumes to me. They aren’t going to appear on a website, but maybe be available to an admitted student on a visit.</p>

<p>hokiefan- I may be a bit late with this response, but I noticed that KU has a Petroleum Engineering program. We visited KU last spring when S was still contemplating majoring in architecture, and absolutely loved the campus. Lawrence is a great college town.</p>
