<p>Im a mechanical engineering girl (yes, one of the 10 in each graduating class) at uva currently and I can honestly tell you no matter where you go for engineering its going to be pretty close to impossible. UVA isn’t really highly ranked in any engineering except biomed, but you still end up with an engineering degree from the 25th most prestigious college in the US. (Also, everyone’s in the same level of hell as you are so you make a lot of engineering friends)</p>

<p>PS- I was in a big meeting with the lead of a project in the gov’t dept my company contracts too. She was blown away that I went to UVa, she instantly knew I was going to do just fine…and she was from NJ!</p>
